CATECHETICAL CORRESPONDENCE COURSES

The School Sisters of Notre Dame are pleased to announce that the Diocese of Hamilton's Office for Ministry, Family and Religious Education has taken on the important work of providing high quality catechesis for children and their families.

These correspondence courses currently reach approximately 700 families from all over the Diocese – families in the Grey-Bruce, Wellington, Waterloo, Halton and Brant regions as well as in Hamilton.

We have enjoyed the many years that we have been able to provide this service to the families of the diocese and beyond. We are deeply indebted to our co-workers, the 60 plus volunteer lay catechists in the parishes. They have faithfully given all with joy and love and we thank them.

For all involved in the Catechetical Correspondence program: the students, their parents, the catechists and administrators, we pray, in the words of our foundress, Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger, "May God, the Almighty and All Good, long sustain you for the blessing of many, and for the rich seed sown grant a hundred-fold harvest."
