Staff Appreciation 2006

On the first day of summer 2006 the staff and sisters of the Motherhouse gathered in the afternoon in the Jubilee garden and activity room for the eighth annual staff appreciation luncheon and presentation of service pins. The day was perfect for being outside, warm and slightly overcast.

The 2006 recipients of service pins were Chris Warburton (30 years), Vanaphar Phy (25 years), Joan MacDonald (25 years), Johanna Smolenaars (20 years), James Peristy (15 years), Maureen Hayward (10 years), Sharon Caddick (10 years), Leza Kjarsgaard (5 years), Terisita Vargas (5 years), Cresilda Tecla (5 years), Therese Bannon (5 years), Krystyna Halasa (5 years), Nicolas Groenewegen (5 years), Marlies Neumann (5 years), Julie Farnand (5 years), and Amy Parkinson (5 years).

The theme for the day was “We grow spirit” and in keeping with the theme every staff member received a beautiful peace lily.
